Slovakia Missions Trip 2025

We are so excited that you are interested in serving in Slovakia this summer with YWAM Kristiansand!

We’re overjoyed that you are thinking about joining us for what is expected to be a life-changing

experience of serving, growing in faith, and making an impact in Slovakia! .

Here’s what to expect:

Ministry:

For ministry we would be challenged to preach, worship, share testimonies and so on. We would also like to connect with the youth in the area through a potential english camp or learning about each other's cultures. We have the option of doing prayer walks, visit an orphanage, visit a christian elderly home and maybe do some soccer ministry. Be ready to have fun and be challenged in ministry. Our goal is for the team to get a taste of what mission could look like! If you have any passions or abilities you would like to use, tell us! We love to use the gifts God has given us and will try our best to make it possible on this trip as well!

Practical Information:

1. Preparation Meetings – We’ll be holding team meetings to prepare for the trip, both spiritually and practically. These will be essential as we build our team dynamic and learn about Slovakia’s culture and needs.

2. Fundraising Support – Part of our mission includes fundraising efforts. We will share more details on how you can be involved in raising support for the trip, whether through personal fundraising or team efforts.

3. Team Communication – We’ll be using email and a group chat to keep everyone updated. Be sure to check your inbox regularly for important updates, and feel free to reach out with any questions.

4. Pray for the Trip – Please join us in praying for the success of the trip, for the hearts of the Slovakian people, and for each member of our team. God has incredible plans in store!

A Few Important Things:

• Make sure your passport is valid and check that there are no issues that could affect your travel.

• Start thinking about any potential fundraising ideas you have.

• Keep your heart and mind open to what God wants to teach you during this experience.
